Everything You Need To Know About The Private Cream

What is The Private Cream?

The Private Cream is a prescription treatment designed to fade discoloration in intimate areas, including the underarms, genitals, groin, inner thighs, and anus. Formulated with hydroquinone, this treatment reduces the look of excess pigment and promotes a more even-looking skin tone in delicate areas.

Expectations

1. Visible results can take up to 6-8 weeks. For those with stubborn hyperpigmentation, your dermatologist might suggest a few cycles of HQ (Hydroquinone) on and off to maintain your results long-term.

2. HQ Safety Notice: Check with your dermatologist for when you should take breaks from using Hydroquinone.

3. There can be a temporary darkening effect prior to the pigment improving, especially if there is irritation or dryness. Keep going.

4. Side effects include peeling, redness, dryness and irritation. For information about how to manage side effects, please use eNurse Check-Ups in the Musely app.

How to Use

Cleanse

1. Thoroughly wash the treatment area with a gentle, fragrance-free body wash or soap and gently pat dry. Allow skin to dry for 2-4 minutes.

Apply The Private Cream

2. Gently massage 1 full pump of The Private Cream to the treatment area, or as directed by your doctor. Avoid sensitive areas.

Tip: The Private Cream can be mixed with a moisturizer to help with spreadability over large areas. It is highly potent and not a lot is needed to be impactful.

Moisturize

3. Wash hands to remove any remaining medication.

4. Allow the area to dry before covering with clothes. Avoid sweating after application as it will remove the medication.
