What Is The Facial Hair Cream?

The Facial Hair Cream is a topical prescription treatment formulated with eflornithine and other powerful ingredients to slow down the growth of unwanted facial hair. This treatment has been formulated by our dermatologists to offer an alternative to shaving or waxing for women who experience hair growth around the lips or under the chin. What Are The Ingredients?

Musely currently offers one formula: Bare for treating unwanted facial hair.

Ingredients include:

• Eflornithine 6%

Expectations:

1. Results can take up to 6-8 weeks.

Do’s

• Use The Facial Hair Cream twice a day, at least eight hours apart, or as directed by your dermatologist.

• Apply The Facial Hair Cream first if you are using other Musely treatments.

• Use SPF 30+ daily. We recommend The Day Cream.

• Continue to use your hair removal methods (e.g. shaving). The Facial Hair Cream can be applied 5 minutes after the hair removal technique.

• If you notice any extreme irritation, please consult with your dermatologist.

Don'ts

• Do not apply more than instructed.

• Do not apply to damaged or broken skin, including sunburn or open wounds.

• If you forget to apply, do not try to “make it up”. Return to your normal application schedule as soon as you can. 

How to Use

Cleanse

1. Thoroughly wash your face with a gentle cleanser and gently pat dry.  Allow skin to dry for 2-4 minutes.

Hair Removal Technique

2. Continue your usual hair removal technique (e.g. shaving), apply The Facial Hair Cream at least 5 minutes after you are done with your hair removal technique.

Apply The Facial Hair Cream

3. Use upward-lifting motions to gently massage 1 full pump of The Facial Hair Cream to the affected areas twice a day OR as directed by your doctor.

• It is typically used around the chin, neck, upper lip and sideburns

• Be careful not to apply around the eyes, corners of the lips, or other sensitive areas.

4. Wash hands to remove any remaining application

SPF 

5. Apply a mineral-based sunscreen with SPF 30+ (such as The Day Cream) after application
