HQ spot cream with hydroquinone and tretinoin removed about 99% of the melasma after about 1 year of use. I used it every night and wear spf 50 daily (and reapply). There is still extremely faint discoloration in some areas. The HW spot cream for maintenance doesn’t seem to be lightening or doing much. Because it doesn’t have tretinoin, I also don’t think it’s worth the price. It should be a lot cheaper.
