I had been experiencing drastic hair loss since entering menopause 5 years ago. This problem runs in my family since my grandmother and mother both experienced this, so I knew exactly where I was headed if I did nothing about it. I used topical minoxidil for several years but found it very inconvenient so I decided to try this oral version. During the first 6 weeks or so I had even more dramatic hair loss but I had heard this might happen so I stuck it out. I am about 5 months into treatment now and am definitely losing very little hair and am seeing regrowth that is a couple inches long. Since I know hair grows about a half inch per month, this matches up perfectly with the timeline of my treatment. I’m glad I stuck it out and I have no plans to stop using this product!
