Treatment area
Body, Hands, Arms, Chest
Common concerns
Body hyperpigmentation, Sun spots, Crepey skin
I have had great success using the body cream for hyperpigmentations on my arms. I spent alot of time in the sun and it caused dark spots on the back of my upper arms where the sunscreen usually wears off or gets missed! It has greatly faded these spots making my arms look more uniform and natural! It works just be patient

The Body Cream — frequently asked questions

How do I know how this will affect my specific skin type?
The Body Cream is formulated for all skin tones and types! Your assigned Musely board-certified dermatologist will review your Medical Questionnaire prior to prescribing, to ensure The Body Cream is right for you.
Can I also use this on my face?
No, The Body Cream is not formulated for use on the face. For skin pigmentation issues like existing dark spots or uneven skin tone on the face, we offer The Spot Cream. The Spot Cream is formulated specifically for the treatment of melasma, dark spots, acne scars and sun/age spots on the face.
Should I avoid using a body lotion if I am using this body cream?
No, you can continue to use your preferred body lotion. We recommend applying a thick moisturizer to the treatment area 5 minutes after application of The Body Cream. We recommend CeraVe Moisturizing Cream or Aquaphor Healing Ointment.
I've heard about skincare products that are beneficial for improving skin discoloration on the body that include ingredients like kojic acid, Azelaic acid, and salicylic acid. Does this product contain any these ingredients?

The Body Cream does not contain either of these ingredients, however, The Spot Cream does contain Azelaic acid and is designed for use on dark spots for your face. We go into more depth about the difference between kojic and azelaic acid here. Salicylic acid is useful in the treatment of keratosis pilaris and is part of The KP Cream formulation.

Additionally, tranexamic acid is also a popular ingredient for treating melasma, dark spots, and hyperpigmentation. It's found in The Spot Pill. Your board-certified Musely dermatologist will be able to guide you through all of these treatments and provide skin care recommendations for what is best for your unique skin conditions.

Can I use this as an eye cream too?
No, The Body Cream is not recommended for use as an eye cream. We recommend using The Eye Serum for any skin concerns pertaining to your eyes.
