Overall I am very pleased with the Erase formula! The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I do still have some melasma/hyperpigmentation after using nightly for 2 months. After using hydroquinone 4% with no success I would say the Erase formula decreased or lightened much more than the 4%. With that I am pleased and will continue to use for a few more months before deciding to maintain on this formula or stop all together. I do have one persistent dark spot that I have not seen any change in unfortunately. The Erase is definitely worth trying if other products have failed. Be patient, be consistent and realize results vary. I was hoping for jaw-dropping results as some of the other folks reported, but I will continue for a few more months and see where I stand
