So far, my treatment using the cell repair serum is going great! I love how all of the Musely treatments I've used absorb so well!. No oily residue or pilling. The science behind the cell repair serum is super interesting! I did a deep dive into the research and learned this treatment is unlike most topical treatments. Topical rapamycin actually inhibits mTOR (mechanistic Target of Rapamycin.) mTOR regulates cell growth, aging and inflammation. Therefore, the inhibition of mTOR actually inhibits these factors resulting in less inflammation and cellular resistance. In vitro, its actually been associated with slowing the aging process. Initially I was looking into ways to increase the absorption of the cell repair serum, but learned that it's actually designed to work on the outer skin layers. The exosomes act as signaling molecules and Rapamycin uses cellular signal pathways, so rather than deeper penetration, simply using it consistently and correctly is the best way to see results.
