yummy creamy homemade rice pudding

100g of pudding rice
25g caster sugar
850ml of semi-skimmed milk
1tsp of butter
Pre-heat oven to 140 degrees. Use the butter and lightly grease a large, deep sided ovenproof dish.
Add 100g of pudding rice, 25g of caster sugar and 850ml of semi-skimmed milk, stir well.
Bake in center of oven and stirred every half an hour to separate the grains.
also add a few small scoops of butter to create a light brown skin after half an hour.
It will take two hours to cook.
My mum use to always make this when I was growing up. It was my favorite and so easy to make. You can add anything like chocolate buttons, cinnamon, nutella, jam... My favorite was chocolate buttons and watching them melt. My mum stopped making it as I grew up but I learned the recipe and carried on making it.
