A little spark of kindness can put a colossal burst of sunshine into someone day.....☀️💛
Here are a few ideas for how you can pay it forward!
I think we take for granted our construction workers a lot of the time, so why not let them know you appreciate the work they do! Here is a simple little thing you can do, and just tape it to one of the machines or a cone or something where they will see it!
Here is one for your mailman! My mom is a mail deliver and when she receives small goodies in the mailbox it makes her day! So this is a great idea, it doesn't have to be anything big or expensive, maybe just a note of encouragement, or baked goods or something like that can go a long way!
This one can be quite fun! Just buy a bag of popcorn and tape it to a RedBox so that the person who comes next has the popcorn for their movie night! *Extra* if you want you could even put the money to buy a movie with the popcorn!
Maybe you know of a family that is struggling right now, here is something that will make their day! A pretty safe meal would be spaghetti ( most people like it) so just get all the ingredients along with some napkins and utensils, and there you have it, a complete meal for a family in need!
I've personally done this one, and it is so so much fun, and it's cheap! Kids will love to find a dollar that's just for them! It's also fun to kind cool places to put the dollar!
We all know how much people hate to pay so much for gas, especially when it gets expensive, so this is something that definitely will make the receiver smile. You can leave any amount, maybe you can't do $20 every time, but any amount would be appreciated!
This is something totally for teens! I mean what teenager wouldn't LOVE an iTunes gift card? When you do this one, try not to do it for someone your close to, do it to someone who you don't really know, or maybe someone who isn't in the "it" group! I promise they will Love it!
A bag for the homeless! This is one of my favorites! It's not expensive, but it will be GREATLY appreciated! Make up 2 or 3 of them and keep them in your car. Anytime you see a homeless person you can give them one of these!
Here is a good idea for what to include:
1) a toothbrush
2) a bottle of water
3) trail mix, or some kind of snack
5) ibuprofen, or tylenol
6) a travel size pack of tissues
7) and a pair of socks!
And lastly, this may seem childish, but it can make your neighbor smile! Just leave a not for them when they come home!
* be careful, if your neighbors seem like the type to not want chalk on their driveway, you might go for leaving a note on their door!*
