Warped Tour Survival GuideEverything you need to know before going to warped tour.Buy Your Ticket
-Go to the official vans warped tour website (www.vanswarpedtour.com). There, you can see all the bands that have been announced, special news updates, dates and cities, and more.
-Click on the "Dates" tab and find the city and date nearest to you and click on it.
-You will see an option to buy a ticket; click that.
-Have a credit card ready and fill in all your information.
-You will be emailed a conformation/receipt and your ticket will be emailed to you about 4weeks before the event. Print out your ticket and bring it with you!
-IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO BUY YOUR TICKETWhat To Wear
-Warped tour is always during summer, so make sure to dress appropriately for the weather.
-Be sure that what your wearing in comfortable and you are ok with it getting dirty.
-I recommend shorts and a tank top. If you're a girl, you can wear a sports bra. Bring several hair ties.
-Wear closed toed shoes! You will get your feet stepped on during shows. Try not to wear new sneakers, as they will get dirty and stepped on.
-I recommend not wearing makeup unless you're sure it will stay on in 100 degree heat for at least 8hours.What to bring
-SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN SUNSCREEN!!! SPF 50+ recommended. Try to apply as often as you can.
-Sealed water bottle. Freeze overnight if possible. Staying hydrated is important. Drink water as often as possible. There is a refill station at every event.
-Small backpack
-Chapstick
-Sharpie and small notebook
-Folder for posters, etc
-Camera
-At least $50. Most t-shirts are around $20 and you might want to buy food at some point.Make A Plan
-Make a list of the bands you for sure want to see before you go. When you get there, you can go to the big red inflatable schedule or buy a paper one for $2. It will tell you which bands are playing at what time and which stage they will be at.
-Some bands you want to see might be playing at the same time. Don't get upset, it happens :)
-Don't be afraid to ask others for directions to a certain stage, it ask if someone has a schedule, sunscreen, etc. Most people will be happy to help and remember, everyone there has something in common; you're all there for the music.-Keep a look out for signs by the merch tents. Bands will often have times posted for signings. Ask if there's anything you need to go to the signing. (Some require you to buy a pass beforehand)

-The gates open at 11am for most places but if you want a good spot in line, get there a few hours early.
-Get a skip the line pass! They cost $5 or you can either bring 3 cans of food or an old cell phone. This lets you be one of the first ones inside the gates!
-If you don't know where to get one, don't be afraid to ask :)
-Make sure you are in the correct line. There is usually two lines; one for general admission and one for people with a skip the line pass.No matter what you do, remember to HAVE FUN!
