Trusper 101: Styling Trusper Posts
Styling! Your Trusper posts that is...
Does your Trusper post look like this?
My image is cut off at first glance...
When it should really look like this?
When I tap it looks like this, but sometimes I want my entire image to be seen...
Images can come in so many shapes and sizes or 'aspect ratios' (to be Techie), that to adapt to your screen and the app itself, apps like Trusper, Instagram, etc will automatically make them the perfect square shape that they need to be to fit your screen at first glance.
That can mean cropping or even cutting the heads off of our favorite pictures! No thanks! Here's a workaround for beautiful Trusper posting...
Let's start with my original picture. It's not a perfect square. Tap it.
Since Trusper needs square images... Let's first, visit your Photos. Then locate your Trusper photo and tap on the screen.
You should see this. Your picture but now with a white background. This is happening because your picture doesn't fit the size of your entire screen. Sound familiar? That's okay because we need that extra bit of white space. Now let's take a screenshot.
To do this on iOS hold down your top button and your home button.
Now scroll right to your next photo in your photo album and you should see this...
The exact same thing. This time, it's a photo. You have your white space. Now let's crop the ugly top bar and bottom matter out.
Tap crop. Crop a square vs a rectangle.
Prefer a black background?
Just tap the picture until you see a black background instead of the white and follow the directions above to crop on that screen.
Maybe Trusper will include some editing capability in the future - allowing us to crop or add white space to our tips, but in the meantime, here is a quick fix.
