To Make Your Own Balcony Garden For Apartments/townhouses Or House
Home & Garden
All you need is a kiddie pool, Walmart bags and soil. Once in place, fill the kiddie pool about 2 inches of water to self water the plants. And refill once a week or when needed.
All you need is two buckets and a towel, on one bucket, drill a hole in the center (use the middle part as a guide) then 6 other holes to drain. Then split the towel into 3 parts, feed it threw the center hole leaving some towel in the bucket and on the bottom.>>
Once filled with soil, make sure the towel touches the top cause water is going to soak water in it. Then with the other bucket, measure 3inches from the bottom and drill a hole, to be an overflow. Fill with water, place the other bucket with the soil in the other then plant tomatoes or cucumber. An only needs to be watered once a week.
This one is easy and complex. You need 6 2L pop bottles, a storage bucket, spray paint, PVC pipe and landscaping fabric. Go onto YouTube and search Larry hall self watering system for instructions to build. But once built only needs water when needed or once a week.
Pretty easy and fun. I don't exactly have a green thumb but this surely helps with that and it's self watering. I'm enjoying my plants so far and they are growing super fast. :)
