Tips On How I've Kept My Hair So Long And Full! 🙋💁💆💇
These are a few simple tips that I follow to keep my hair nice, strong, long and overall pretty healthy. I hope you enjoy! (Excuse my cut off and zoomed in faces! I'm fairly new and still trying to figure this out! Thanks. 😊)
I do my best to only wash my hair every other day. when I do I only shampoo my roots and only condition my ends. When I finish my shower I don't put my hair up in a towel wrap, because of how easily your hair can be damaged when it's wet. I also never brush my hair while it's wet! Big no no!
I really know that I shouldn't wear my hair up when I sleep, because of the damage it causes because of the stress the ponytail, but I do wear my hair up while I sleep. But try to wear your hair down or in a clip!
Another thing I do to keep my hair long (I've just started recently) is, I put olive oil in my hair, massage it in for about 4 minutes, then flip my head upside down, I hold it for about 5 minutes. Then I leave it in for a few hours then wash it out! This helps it grown very quickly!
A bonus for using oil in your hair is that if you wash it properly your hair is so nice and so shiny! It becomes easier to style and deal with! I do my best to avoid using all heat products, but when I do I use a heat protection spray! Let your hair air dry!
I always try to keep my hair looking and feeling full by crunching it up in ponytails for about 5 minutes with small amounts of hair spray.
This is one of the most important things I do for my hair ( I think so anyways ) is get it cut often! You don't have to get it cut as often as I try to (once every 2 weeks) but it's important to get rid of your dead ends to let your hair grow healthy!
