Tips For Getting Those Beautiful Dancer Legs, Feet, And Arms. ⭐️🎀
Health & Fitness
As a dancer, I'm always looking for new stretches to get those beautifully arched feet, straight legs, and pointed toes. Here are some stretches/ideas I use to help get my body to its most flexible point. 💕
Stretch #1: If you're a dancer, it's always very helpful to have your right, middle, and left splits. These help stretch your legs (obviously) and make it easier for you to achieve other things like a tilt, leg grab, etc.... Practice these every day, doing each one for a minimum of 15 seconds.
Stretch #2: Backbend. Doing a backbend REALLY stretches out your back and makes it easier for you to try harder dance tricks like a chin stand, front walkover, back walkover, etc.... Do a backbend 10-20 times every day for 30 seconds each. You'll be getting that flexible back in no time!
Stretch #3: Lunges. When doing lunges, you are really stretching out your hamstrings, which helps you prepare for your splits. There isn't much to it. You just have to do it.
Stretch #4: Arching your foot/rolling it out. When stretching your feet, you can improve your arch, which can be very helpful in so many ways to ANY dancer. Practice standing on your tip toes to stretch your arch, or roll your foot on it's sides to try and stretch it out more.
Stretch #5: The above arm stretches really help you loosen up any stressed muscles that may be holding you back from doing certain things. Stretching out your arms makes your muscles less tense and makes you a little stronger and helps you elongate them out more.
I hope this helped a little. These are some of my every day stretches I use to improve my flexibility. 💜
