If you already own and use this popular scrub, here is the best tip and advice on how to properly use and apply it. First: get a quarter sized amount in your hand.
-
Now: use it as a foot scrub in the shower until the product runs out. Then stop buying it or just use it as a foot scrub!
-
You might be asking : WHY ??
Well st. Ives scrub uses walnut grain as an exfoliation which might seem like it's cleaning your pores and brightening your skin but in reality it is peeling off essential layers of the skin and ripping that protective later of skin right off!! -
Find a product with exfoliating microspheres. What are those you may ask....
-
You should be exfoliating with a round surface that can fit in the pores without scratching the skin. Look for a product with exfoliating microspheres or very fine exfoliation similar to the consistency of sand.
-
The key is to exfoliate without removing the critical protective outer layer of the skin. The only layer of skin we want to remove is the top layer of dead skin cells and the primary layer of skin in order to rejuvenate cells and cause the renewal and regeneration of new skin cells on the face. Please stop using the popular apricot scrub. It is possibly one of the worst products on the market!! Thank you and don't forget to like :)
