The Right Way To Wash

  • 1. Start with rinsing
Get your hair very wet before adding shampoo. It's like how your laundry needs a rinse cycle before you add the detergent. Use hot water to remove any dirt or product that has been trapped. Warm water loosens the oil through the scalp and opens up the cuticles to absorb the oils.

  • 2. Long hair needs to have condition first
Protect fragile ends from drying out and more damage by putting a small amount of conditioner through them and gently rinse before shampoo. This also fills the holes with moisture.

  • 3. Only shampoo the top of your head
Only shampoo your scalp. Also don't use more then you need to. A quarter size is perfect for short hair. If your hair is longer then double that size.

  • 5. Rinse with cold water
Cold water will seal the shingle-like outer layer, which causes your hair to give a shiny look.
