I am in good shape and was surprised the first time I went to the trails for dirt biking in the morning. I thought it wasn't going to be hard sitting on a bike for a mile or two around a dirt track. Little did I know that i was actually going to have to multitask just going into turns and on straight-aways and on the whoops. If you don't know what these are look them up.
After just two miles I was sweating a little, needed water because of the dry air, and was breathing fast. I noticed that on the whoops I had to crouch over the bike to let it move easier and on the turns I had to brake, shift down, look ahead, and give the bike some gas. I was very surprised and noticed how much I had to use my knees. The next day I was kind of sore and needed some ice.
