    🍪1/2 cup milk (any level of fat content)🍪
    🍪1 tsp. salt🍪
    🍪2 tsp. baking powder🍪
    🍪3 cups white flour, little extra for dusting🍪
    🍪1 tsp. maple syrup/vanilla extract🍪
    🍪2 eggs, lightly beaten🍪
    🍪1 cup caster sugar🍪
    🍪2 cups butter unsalted, room temperature🍪

    🍪Cooking rack🍪
    🍪Pastry brush🍪
    🍪Drinking glass/cookie cutters🍪
    🍪Rolling pin🍪
    🍪Parchment paper🍪
    🍪Baking sheet🍪
    🍪Plastic wrap🍪

  • 🍪Tips:🍪

    🍪Experiment with different sizes, shapes, and decorations🍪
    🍪Add different flavors like peppermint or orange whatever is in the form pof oils or extracts in the dough🍪
    🍪Depending on the color intensity, you can add up to about 30 drops, mix with hands for an even color, or in a swirl to have a tie-dye effect🍪
    🍪If you freeze the dough in cylinder logs, you can bake a couple in the microwave on high for 1 min. to have a quick, sweet snack!🍪

  • 🍪Warnings:🍪

    ⚠️Remember, the cookies and pan are hot when they come out of the oven⚠️
    ⚠️Be careful with the cookies! They burn quickly⚠️

  • 🍪Steps🍪

    🍪Preparing the Cookie Dough:🍪

    1.)🍪Cream the butter and sugar in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed🍪
    2.)🍪Add the eggs, one at a time, mix in between each egg put in🍪
    3.)🍪Add the maple syrup/vanilla extract and mix until batter is smooth🍪

  • 4.)🍪In another medium bowl, using a fine metal sieve, sift the salt, baking powder, and flour🍪
    5.)🍪At 1 cup at a time add your dry ingredients (make sure mixer is on low speed, so the flour doesn't blow out everywhere) This is when you can add the flavoring or food coloring. I think it's even better to separate the batter into however many bowls you want, and put different food colorings or flavorings in each bowl, then layer to make the best cookie🍪
    6.)🍪Once mixture is blended smoothly, cover the bowl with plastic wrap, then refrigerate for about 3-4 hours🍪

  • 🍪Shaping and Baking:🍪

    1.)🍪Line baking sheet with parchment paper while you preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C)🍪
    2.)🍪Dust a clean surface with flour🍪
    3.)🍪Take the chilled dough and roll it onto the flat surface🍪
    4.)🍪Once dough is about 1/4 thick, you can cut the shapes you want🍪
    5.)🍪Gently peel away each cookie and place on baling sheet🍪
    6.)🍪 Brush each cookie with a little bit of milk🍪
    7.)🍪Bake cookies for about 10-15 min.🍪
    8.)🍪Put cookies on wire rack for a few min. before decorating🍪
    9.)🍪Once cooled, put inside airtight container, or freeze them for later🍪
