  • He starts with very thin cut uncooked steak. You can buy it like this at the grocery store.

  • Any box of stovetop stuffing will do. Prepare it. Add an egg OR sausage. Mix in finely chopped onions or herbs if you want. Even mix it up with cheese sometimes.

** if you are using sausage break it up in the dry mix then add boiling water.

  • Layer the stuffing on the steak and roll it up. Secure the roll with string or toothpicks. Now brown them in a frying pan.

  • Rather than layering if my steaks are not very long I'll just form a cylinder out of the stuffing mix with my hands then roll it up.

  • Finish them in the oven at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. 
Serve with gravy.
