Spinach-Artichoke Dip! Easy Recipe!!!!!

posted in Food & Drink
  • So this is one of my favourite appetizer/snack things to make! I know it may not look the best and trust me, when I first saw it I was 'Nah'... But then I actually tried it and I fell in love! So, for those who are interested, here's what you do!

    > Prep Time: Roughy 10 minutes
    > Cook Time: Roughly 10 minutes

All in all, is shouldn't take more than 20-25 minutes to do this! (:

  • What you need:

(This is from the recipe I found and used from online a few months back. I've just tweaked it a bit (: )

1, 10-ounce box chopped spinach, thawed

1, 12-ounce jar artichoke hearts, drained and roughly chopped

    1/2 cup whipped cream cheese

    3/4 cup sour cream

    1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (or any!)

    1/4 teaspoon black pepper

tortilla chips, crackers or really just anything you'd like to this on!

  • What to do:

    1. Heat oven to 400° F.

    2. Squeeze the spinach between paper towels to remove excess moisture. (I personally don't do this, but I included it from the original recipe).

    3. In a medium bowl, combine the spinach, artichokes, cream cheese, sour cream, and Cheddar. Season with the salt and pepper.

    4. Scrape the mixture into a small oven-safe baking dish. Bake until lightly golden and heated through, about 15 minutes.

It's best when served hot or warm. The amount of ingredients can be toyed with depending on how many your preparing for.

  • And there you have it! That's the recipe, tweaked to my liking, for spinach-artichoke dip! (:

If anyone would like, I could you link you to the original recipe so y'all can see what I've taken out! Just shoot me a message if you do!

  • Hope y'all like it! ♥
