Sloppy Joe Calzone!

  • I know it may sound kinda weird... but it's the easiest thing to make !! And it's amazing!

  • You need: 
• 1 can of biscuits or about 8 frozen biscuits (any type of biscuits will work!) 
• 1 pound of ground beef 
• 1 can of sloppy joe mix
• cheese( optional)

  • 1• brown the beef and mix in the sloppy joe sauce. 
2• roll out the biscuits. Make sure they're flat but not too thin. They're easy to rip when you put the meat on. 
3•OPTIONAL lay the cheese down and put the sloppy joe mix on top

But this is how you fold the calzone. 
Make sure not to add too much liquid to the dough, it'll makes mess!

  • To make a seam, you can either fold it like in the picture 
Or you can use a fork and press the seams together. 

I found that either way will work but folding the dough was harder...you need more dough

  • Now it's time to bake! 
Place the "calzones" in the oven 
Cook it for how ever long the biscuits say. 
At the temperature they call for. I told you this recipe was super easy! 

I used Pillsbury flaky biscuits and they say to cook for 8-10 minutes.
