The tickets aren't anymore exspensive but you can skip those long linesIf you’re at the Louvre with your back to the Pyramid and facing the Arc du triumph. walk across the street, under the Arch and then turn left. Go across the grass and follow the louvre wall. It's the doorway with lion statues. Watch out though it's closed on Fridays.
