Should I Use A Face Oil? by Should I Use A Face Oil?Face oils are making a huge impact in today's beauty world, but should you actually be using one? Especially if you have oily or acne prone skin? I'll cover the basics of face oils and maybe help you determine if they're for you!So it's fairly obvious that if you have dry skin a beauty oil could become your best friend. But how do you choose the right oil?For starters, any oil you choose you only have natural oils in it that haven't been processed. Processed oils don't have all of the benefits as unprocessed oils. The key nutrients are usually expelled out when processed. Should you use it for oily skin or acne prone?Coming from experience, I can tell you having oily skin does not mean you can't use a beauty oil.  You might think, won't putting oil on oil just make my grease face look oil slick? Well I'm not going to lie to you, the first week your skin will go through an adjustment process. Since you will be adding oil to your skin, it will begin to balance out oil production. First it might seem like your skin is really oily, but after continued use the oil production will balance out and you skin will produce less oil because you are putting good oil in it. Is oil bad for acne prone skin? You want to look for non-comedogenic oils, which most oils that are all natural, unprocessed, cold pressed oils are. Also lighter weight oils are preferred for acne prone skin because they soak in quickly and do not sit long on the skin. So if you're thinking about trying a face oil, go ahead and try it. Just remember all skin is different but oils hold benefits for every skin type.
