It's Sunday night. The proximity to Monday fills my heart with dread. I can't imagine a time when my heart was filled with excitement or a shred of joy. (Only slightly sarcastic here).
My #SelfCareSunday ritual was born out of one of these horrible Sundays.
1. Take some time to double up on skincare treatments.
2. Meal prep! Prepare your meals/snacks for the week.
3. Do anything else you want to get ready for the week, mentally and physically.
First step: Masking, or really just a chance to watch TV in bed
Apply a clay-based mask to clarify the skin (I love the classic Queen Helene's Mint Julep).
Next, I use a slightly exfoliating treatment. This one from Korean brand Dr. G is amazing - as you roll it around on your face, your dead skin begins to ball up and fall off!
