  • The first thing you'll need is a
    •A backpack
    •2 inch Binder
~ I'd recommend getting the "better binder"
•Folders for each of your classes
•A note book for each class
~ you could get a 5 subject notebook, but if a teacher collects your notebook to check your notes you won't have it for the next class.
    •1 composition book
~ there's always that one teacher who requires one
    •Dividers
    •White erasers
    •Loose-leaf college ruled notebook paper
    •Loose-leaf graph paper
    •A planner
    •A ruler
    •Protractor
    •A pencil pouch

  • You will also need
    •Lots of pencils
~I like to stock up so I don't run out in the middle of the year
    * I also prefer mechanical but wooden pencils work too
    •Red pens
    •Blue/black pens
•A pack of assorted colored pens
~ I use them to take notes and write in my planner
    • Highlighters
~ I also like to stock up on these so I don't run out
    •Colored pencils
    •A pack of index cards
    •A calculator
~ what type depends on what math class your taking so check with your teacher
    •And a flash drive

  • Those were just the basics, these are just some things I like to get every year:
    •Three-ring hole punch
    •Protractor
    •Sticky notes
    •Mini stapler
    •Water bottle
    •Lunch box
    •Dry erase markers
    •A locker shelf
    •Glue sticks
    •Markers
~ yes, you still use these in highschool
    •Scotch tape
    •Paper clips
    ~ Good for book marks
    •Earbuds
    •Gum/mints
    •Poster boards for projects
    •Scissors
    •White out
    •Labels
    •And extra lead

  • I also always have money with me incase I forget my lunch or just want to buy a snack.

Also remember to check what you have left over from last year so you don't have to buy all new stuff.

  • Hope this helped 💖
