Running may seem difficult at first, but if you use these tips, you will be able to run fast in no time.
Stretch before and after running. This helps warm you up for running and cool down after. Stretching also helps to prevent injuries, but you still can get injured even if you do stretch!
Drink water before. Drinking water before you run is very important to stay hydrated. You will be able to run faster and longer if you drink water because you will feel better. Water is very good to drink all the time!
Get proper shoes. Nike shoes and other shoes of that sort are not good for your knees and ankles! They may seem fine but they can lead to problems later on. Look into good running shoes. I prefer ASIC's because they are specifically made for running and there is many different types.
Run in the morning or night (depending on where you live and what time of year). It is typically hotter in mid day and it's easier to run when it's cooler out so you won't sweat as much and become dehydrated.
Work your way up. Nobody will be able to run fast and effortlessly overnight. Start with jogging or going a short distance to build your endurance and stamina. Running, say, 3 miles at the start may be harder which discourages people from running.
