Rootbeer And Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2 cup white sugar
* 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
* 1/2 cup butter (one stick – make sure it is softened or room temperature)
* 1 egg
* 1/4 cup root beer
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 3/4 cup flour
* 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
* 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Using some sort of mixer, mix together both types of sugar, butter, egg, root beer and vanilla.
Add flour and baking soda. Mix well.
Add chocolate chips. Mix with a spoon, otherwise the mixer may chop up the chips.
Drop teaspoon size pieces of dough
2 inches apart on greased baking sheet or silpat (non-stick silicone baking sheet). Bake 6 – 8 minutes.
