  • This is very similar to another tips I've shared, by this one goes more in depth with your entire hair shaft, not just the ends. You'll make a mixture of equal parts each a conditioner, deep conditioner, leave in conditioner and a hair mask. You can add any other creams or oils to the mix

  • After you've cleaned or washed your hair, and towel dried it, apply the mixture to your hair. Apply generously and comb through to distribute evenly, only using a wide tooth or shower comb to prevent further damage. Stay away from brushes, or or anything with metal teeth for the same reason

  • Take 2 damp, not dripping wet, towels and heat one up for about 2 minutes. 1 minute at a time, re folding halfway through. Wrap hair in the warm towel while you heat up the other one. Swap the warm towels about 2-4 times, ensuring the towels are steaming warm, but not hot to the touch

  • Once you've completed the steaming process, take a sock bun and roll hair from the bottom up. Using a sock bun and not a hair donut ensures your treatment won't dry out. Leave treatment in as long as you want, overnight if possible, before rinsing out with cold water. Remember, oil may require soap
