Reasons Why Your Chocolate Chip Cookies Turn Out Wrong
Food & Drink
Cookies can spread WAY too much if the batter is too warm when you've prepared it. When the mixture is at room temperature for a long amount of time, it'll start to warm up which can cause them to spread out and look like pancakes. A way to avoid this is by putting the batter in the fridge for 10-20
-minutes before putting them in the oven. This way, it won't spread out as much. Also, make sure you scoop TEASPOONS of the batter on the baking sheet to receive more cookies from the mix. To one baking sheet, eight should fit perfectly by laying them out in this format
1 1 1
1 1 1
This way, they'll each have enough space to spread evenly. Note: 1 = 1 cookie
