Quick And Simple Eye Make Up Tutorials/ Ideas (some can be achieved under 5 mins!!!)
1- Flush the eye with a light eye shadow (ivory/white/cream/light pink pigments will all be ok) 2- Add definition by adding some colour in the crease of the brow (look for pigments that resemble a dark sandy colour, a light dirty brown, alternatively even a darker bronzer will do) and blend.
2- remember you are only trying to add a subtle definition so try sticking to the lighter brown shades.
3- Next line the outside corner of the eyes using a dark pigment (black, chocolate or coffee browns)-I personally prefer brown colours as they look less harsh- using any eyeliner brush (angled will be easier) line the the water/lash line, starting from approximately the middle of the eye (with eye shadows mistakes are less visible and you can always blend it slightly if mistakes occur).
4- From the bottom lashline drag the colour up creating a flick.
5- blend slightly (optional)
Also try skipping steps 1 & 2 from the previous tutorial and swapping these with one simple step. - Lightly Flush a peachy coloured blush all over the lid and continue with steps 3-6. And use the same blush on your cheeks! It will create a lovely flushed look ideal for spring :)
Again - Flush the eye with a light eye shadow - Define by adding a light brown pigment to the crease and blend - Define the eye, by using a coffee brown eyeshadow to line the eye - Add mascara
The palate displayed here is an optimal example of the shades needed to create a perfect smokey eye!! This tutorial is super easy to make: 1- Flush the lid with a creamy/light pink shade. 2- Use a slightly darker shade on the middle of the lid and on the crease.
3- Apply the darker shade on the crease in a < shape, starting from the outer corner up on the crease. And blend any rough lines/shapes.
4- lastly add some mascara
5- Optional- if preferred you could also line the eye subtly on the water/lash line as seen in the previous tutorial (and the following).
This is a more basic and simple example of the previous tutorial. Really it's the very basic of a natural eye. :)
Like in the previous examples: - Flush the eye with a light shade - Define in a < shape the corner and crease of the eye a darker pink colour, extending it to a quarter of the lid. -Add slightly more definition lightly adding a darker colour in a < shape. -Line the eye -Add mascara
This is a super quick look to achieve!! 1-Lightly Flush the eye with a dark brown or Black eyeshadow. 2-With a smaller brush (e.g: eyeliner brush) extend the colour under the bottom lash. 3-Line the inner waterline of the eye.
4-Add a shimmery or Gold colour in the inner corner up to the middle of the eye. This will add some sparkle to the eye.
5- Lastly add some mascara.
Another super quick look! 1-Using a black eyeliner pencil, thickly line the top lid of the eye, and then thinly extend to the bottom lash line. 2-With a eyeshadow brush, blend the eyeliner all over the top lid. 3-Add a coral sparkly eyeshadow (creamy/pencil) to the crease of the eye to add
3- a pop of colour.
4-Lastly add some mascara.
The following two tutorials, will provide some examples on two different way of lining the eye, and a cat flick. For this tutorial: -Flush the eye -Add some eyeliner -Add some mascara
