  • No doubt there are a thousand and one creative possibilities using plastic bottles ... Wellthere goes another !. I present the " Pot Gatuna " . Bottle of lemonade ... a hanging baskets !

    Plastic bottles
White spray paint (bright white )
Water resistant marker ( black and pink)
    Lace or white cotton thread

  • TIPS

These pots are very easy to make and I think the steps are understood fairly well with the images , but anyway I leave a few important tips:

You can use plastic bottles of various sizes. I recommend are from those "legs " in its base ( not all bottles have this type of base. In particular is 5 legs ) .
To trim the shape of the ears you can use this template . Make sure that the ears are centered two "legs " of the base. More or less must be 11 cm from the base to the tip of the ears .

  • To paint with spray ( white gloss, not matte) , it is important that you follow the instructions in the pot. In an outdoor space , place the bottle on some kind of high object as a pedestal for better and put a stone or the like on the inside so that it does not move with the force of the spray. Especially with newspaper or plastic protects the surrounding areas not paint stain them . It takes patience to let the corresponding drying time between coats to avoid excess paint that then become raindrops.

  • Punch holes in the sides and attach a string, if you would like to hang these. You can plant the seedling that you like always putting a portion of gravel in the bottom for drainage of water. In this way the roots do not rot and the plant is not choking because the stones act as a reservoir of air and water. You must provide a moderate watering.
If you urge you to do it at home , if you want to send me photos !

  • Thanks for looking! This is not my idea.
