Parmesan Crusted Tilapia With Rice

  • You will need for rice:
1 cup long grain rice
1 tablespoon garlic pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon parsley

You will need for tilapia:
Olive oil
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
3 teaspoons paprika 
1 tablespoon parsley
Salt and pepper to taste

    You will need for rice:
    1 cup long grain rice
    1 tablespoon garlic pepper
    1 tablespoon onion powder
    1 tablespoon parsley

    You will need for tilapia:
    Olive oil
    1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    3 teaspoons paprika 
    1 tablespoon parsley
    Salt and pepper to taste 
    4 tilapia fillets

  • To make rice:
    Put rice to boil in 2 cups of water. Boil on medium heat for 10 minutes and add garlic pepper, onion powder and parsley. Boil for another 10 minutes on low heat or until rice has absorbed most of the water. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.

    To make tilapia:
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Put enough olive oil in a platter to coat all pieces of tilapia. In another platter mix together the Parmesan cheese, paprika, parsley and salt & pepper. 
    Coat each piece of tilapia with oil then with dry mix, place them on a nonstick pan and bake for 20 minutes.

  • When serving:
    Make a bed of rice and place tilapia on rice. May offer extra Parmesan cheese and or parsley to top dish.
