  • Ingredients:
2 tbsp melted butter
1 medium chopped yellow onion
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup flour
4 cups half & half cream
4 cups chicken stock
1 lb fresh broccoli
2 cups julienned carrot
1/2 tsp nutmeg
16 oz grated sharp cheddar cheese
Salt & pepper
    Ingredients:

    1 lb fresh broccoli

    1/2 tsp nutmeg

  • DIRECTIONS:

1. Sautée onion in 2 tbsp melted butter.

2. Cook 1/2 cup melted butter and flour using a whisk over medium heat for 3-5 minutes. Stir constantly while adding the half & half.

3. Add chicken stock. Simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
