  • Disclaimer - this is only my opinion on these products from experiences kind of like a review.

  • Bare Minerals

Many people have said that it is the holy grail of makeup and products like no others. But I don't really get the hype when I tried it it didn't really feel any different to other make up it was applied and removed in the same way as my normal makeup. I also find the loose powers very messy and there is always waste. My mum got a sample to take home and try out but it brought her up in a rash and she had to wash it off immediately.

  • St Tropez

I found this to be very similar to my normal tanning lotion (Dove gradual tanning lotion in medium to dark). The main difference was the price. I got a small bottle as a gift and I won't be buying another when it runs out. I would advise anyone who is planning on spending so much money on this to get a spray tan it is the best thing I ever did and is much cheaper than even some of the drugstore self tanning lotions and gives much better results. (Mine is about £8.50 at my local salon but prices vary depending on where you go).

  • Freederm

This product isn't too bad if you don't mind a sticky face I used to use this a lot when I used to suffer from frequent breakouts as it is recommended for acne sufferers so I thought it must be very good for a few spots. The worst came when I tried to apply makeup. It made it very difficult as the gel made it patchy as it formed a film over the problem area. I would recommend benefit boo boo zap or lush greese lightening.

  • Gimme Brow

This is quite a new product however when I tried it in store when it first came out there was only one shade (which would obviously be a problem). When they applied it it was far too light (I have dark brown/black hair as my natural colour) it also wasn't very buildable either. I think I will be sticking with brow zings also by Benefit.

  • They're Real Mascara

This isn't really a bad product to be honest I love it it makes your lashes long it doesn't clump I find it to be one of the best I've tried so far. However it has been so over promoted since its release people talk about it like is the only mascara ever to exist. It's a shame though because benefit are quite a good brand as the products last for ages and many I have fallen in love with. My only problem is that they just over promote their new releases And many other products both their own and other brands don't get credit where it's due for being amazing products.

  • Naked Palettes

I love these the colour choices and combinations are just amazing however they are so over priced many other drugstore brands sell the same or similar colours that go by different names for a cheaper price. I see this to be "just another eyeshadow pallete" and I don't really get what is so special about it. I find this to be very much like the they're real mascara it has become a product for the brand to be known for as some of the other great and successful releases don't get half as much hype as these products.
