I usually do 4. Take each section one at a time and separate into 3pieces. Take each piece and twist it tightly all the way to the tip, then braid while they are still tightly twisted. Repeat for each section. Leave in overnight to dry. Then take it out in the morning and separate with your fingers and instant no heat spiral curls
