No Bake Chocolate Macaroons

  • You will need:
    1/2 cup butter
    2 cups cocoa
    1/2 cup milk
    2 cups sugar

  • Bring contents to boil. Boil for 2 minutes, or until "softball stage''. To test for softball stage, drop a small amount into a ice cold glass of water. If it goes soft & melts, you've done it right. If it hardens, it is overlooked.

  • Then, mix in 2 cups oats and 1/4 cups coconut (you can also experiment!) and drop by the teaspoon in waxed paper. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours and enjoy.

  • Refrigerate after serving or the contents will melt.
