Natures Bandaid - Scar Preventer - Bio Degradable (of Course!) Hard Boiled Eggs!

posted in Skin & Body
  • Boil a couple of eggs ( only one is needed but until you get the peeling perfected you should boil a couple to leave room for errors)

  • Let it dry stuck to the skin. It stops the bleeding, speeds up the scabbing process and prevents scars. This may sound strange but my parents used this method in all of us kids throughout my childhood and it really does work!

  • For cuts and scraps. First clean the wound and surrounding skin well. No need to apply disinfectant or anything else.

  • carefully peel and remove the skin ( it is In-between the egg and the shell) in the largest pieces possible. Apply over the cut/scrape in a crisscross pattern. The egg skin protects from germ contamination, slows/stops the bleeding, speeds up the scabbing, and prevents scaring.

  • It may sound weird but this method was used on me all throughout my childhood and I can attest that it really does work. It may take some practice but it's worth it!
