  • On December 2014 my family decided to take holiday pictures. When I saw myself in these pictures I really thought to myself "Wow I have really gained a lot of weight!" I was disappointed with myself for letting my weight problem get too far! I weighted 268 lbs NO BUENO!!

  • Starting January 2015 I dedicated myself to a healthy lifestyle to lose the weight and to start feeling better about myself. It's been 3 months since then and I am weighting at 228 lbs! I am proud of myself for this and I am still as dedicated as day 1

    So here is how I am losing the weight so far!! If I am doing something wrong or have any tips for me PLEASE comment :)

  • I start of my day by drinking a cup of hot water with lemon before drinking or eating anything else! No sugar or honey added!

  • The gym is my favorite place to be at now! I've even made new friends! First I start off with doing weights making sure I workout different muscles everyday! I love squats! My butt looks better and a lot of my cellulite has cleared off! I embrace the pain the next day lol

  • After doing weights I do cardio for an hour or so. Then after the "Calorie Massacre" I like to relax in the sauna! On Fridays for my cardio I swim for at least 30 minutes! On Saturdays I like to try out classes. My favorite ones to do are dance classes like Zumba, or Yoga! Mondays are my day off! Exercising has really helped me become more energetic and cheerful!

  • When I first started working out I thought sit-ups and abb exercises would help, but I've learned that it only makes stomach muscles big and what's the point when their being covered by fat! So losing the fat (with cardio and diet) is best to do first! Still, it is good to gain muscle! They help burn calories throughout the day! Some people don't like doing weights, but all three (Cardio, Diet, Weights) are important for losing weight and shaping your body!

  • WATER! Lots if water! No more sodas or store bought juices! Instead, when I'm tires of water, I make my own fruit or veggie juices with no sugar added!

  • When I'm in the mood for milk or when I'm eating fiber cereals I drink Almond milk! Or sometimes coconut milk!

  • My diet has changed! No more fatty Hispanic foods or greasy Chinese food (GOD DO I MISS IT!!) I added fruits and veggies to all my 5 small portioned sized meals in a day.  Protein and fiber in my meals! Some of the foods I eat are Greek yogurt, nuts, grilled or steamed meats (turkey, chicken, fish)
    My diet has changed! No more fatty Hispanic foods or greasy Chinese food (GOD DO I MISS IT!!) I added fruits and veggies to all my 5 small portioned sized meals in a day. Protein and fiber in my meals! Some of the foods I eat are Greek yogurt, nuts, grilled or steamed meats (turkey, chicken, fish)
  • I don't really like beef or pork! Special K cereal or fiber one, protein bars, low fat cheese, low fat cottage cheese, turkey bacon with my egg whites in the morning with a fruit on the side, oatmeal, natural peanut butter, wheat bread and wheat tortillas, steamed white rice or brown rice, avocados (yummy) broccoli, turkey bacon, lentils, and so on! I like looking on here for some delicious healthy food recipes!

  • When I'm cooking with oil I either cook with Pam or coconut oil.

  • Obviously that is not me weighting myself in the picture, but someday I will be close to that! My goal is 130lbs :)

  • Family support! It really helps a lot that my family is supporting me with my weight loss goal! Sometimes my aunt accompanies me to the gym, my mom cooks healthier, they try not to temp me with unhealthy foods, motivate me to keep it up, compliment me on my progress!
