I have lost a significant amount of weight and I was very obese and unhealthy at 155 for a 5'1 person. Now I am about 130 and I'm still not where I am but I have come a long way . Depending on your body type you will shed pounds like that , but for some of us its a longer process and that's okay . Here's some tips that helped me lose weight in the year .
NO soda . It is packed with sugar and unwanted carbs . You should not drink your calories but instead grab water . If you want to flavor up your water a bit add fruits in your water , lemon , or lime.
No junk food . If you want to lose some weight and your tempted because you have them in your house , throw them away .
Menu - Write a menu about what you could eat during the week . If it helps search diet foods online and many ideas should come .
Go grocery shopping on Sunday's therefore you have everything to make your meals.
Meal prep - Always prepare all your meals on Sunday . So therefore you can't say oh I didn't have time to make it , that's why I grabbed the unhealthy stuff .
Have 1 cheat day per week . Keep the portions small .
Exercise - I do up to 2 hours of exercising . In those two hours I do cardio , strength , and abs . Get at least 30 minutes of cardio in each day and at least 2 strength sessions throughout the week .
Rest for 1 day throughout the week and I think the best day to rest is Sunday but that's my opinion .
Keep yourself motivated to keep on going by reading these exercise quotes or searching up people's results . Do whatever it takes as long as you keep striving for success .
