My Personal Seven Commandments For Maintaining Clear Skin

1) THOU SHALT CLEANSE THY SKIN At least twice daily-when you go to bed and when you wake up. Sometimes you actually don't need to wash your face again in the morning when you already did it the night before you went to bed. You can get away with rinsing with water if it is not greasy.
2) THOU SHALT NOT PICK THY SKIN this one makes all the difference because this is my bad habit. HANDS OFF YOUR FACE. You may think you are getting rid of the acne by popping it but it always comes back with a vengeance. If I go for one week without picking my face my skin is glowing!
3) THOU SHALT EAT NUTRITIOUSLY do some research on what fruits and veggies, nuts, vitamins and oils that help improve skin. Don't just eat for the sake of your beauty but for your overall health too.
4) THOU SHALT NOT OVERINDULGE IN SWEETS AND SODAS supposedly they have discovered that your junk food diet does not contribute to blemished skin. Well I have experimented that in myself and my skin improved 100% when I cut these kaka foods from my diet. Even replacing regular soda with diet helps.
5) THOU SHALT DRINK PLENTY OF WATER become obsessed with water. Water is a natural cure to headaches, weight problems, skin conditions, etc. If you don't like the taste of water you need to get over it or add crystal light. Either way you NEED water for your overall health.
6) THOU SHALT NOT SLEEP WITH MAKEUP ON do I have to explain this one? Ew. We all get lazy but just imagine you pores consuming the oils and dirt from your old makeup overnight.
7) THOU SHALT NOT OVERDO MAKEUP it is okay to get extravagant with makeup hear and there for parties and special occasions. But piling on makeup over you pores is not only suffocating your skin, but making it look cakey. Besides, every guy I have met says they prefer a girl who is more natural.
My rule of thumb for water drinking is when your urine is ALMOST clear, that's when you've had enough for the day. After that your basically peeing out water.
