  • Hi everybody! Okay so I'm going to be keeping updates on my hair dyeing experiences and my first project will be getting silver hair so enjoy!

  • Okay so this was my hair colour before I bleached my hair, it's a dark chocolate brown. I do have extensions in, just so you know that my hair didn't fall out drastically πŸ˜‚

  • Okay dokey, before bleaching my hair I used Lee Stafford, Herbal Essence and Mark Hill hair masks to make my hair stronger making it healthier before bleaching. I left these on my hair for an hour then washed out with lukewarm water then let it air dry to cause minimal damage

  • I'm going to spray this on my hair before blow drying my hair. I'd usually wait for it to air dry however, I'm in a slight rush

  • My eye looks so weird πŸ˜‚
Anyway, I've blow dried my hair so it's slightly damp on a low heat setting. Time to section my hair and bleach my hair, not my roots because they're already white blonde

  • I shall leave this on my hair for 45 minutes which will hopefully lift the colour

  • I'm using provoke touch of silver brightening shampoo which neutralises brassiness. I'm leaving this on for a couple of house while topping it up occasionally to get the best results

  • I believe you can see a visible difference after having the toner on for 1 hour. I'm going to put some more toner on for another hour and see the difference

  • After toning my hair for another 2-3 hours, my hair is light enough to put silver toner on my hair (looks lighter in person)

  • This is an odd picture because I was showing my friend how red my skin is after bleaching it.
Anyway, it didn't completely go sliver which was what I was expecting however, some bits such as the ends of my hair went silver and my roots

  • I'm going to stop toning my hair for a week to let it rest and use a hair mask every night and in the morning, use my provoke silver shampoo daily to get the yellow tones out again and then try again next week

  • NEW PROJECT!!!
So after a day or two I got bored with waiting to put my silver toner on my hair in a weeks time so I decided to put some pastel colours in my hair! Yay!

  • Okay dokey! So this is the colour I started with when putting pastels in my hair, it didn't work fabulously which was obvious because my hair wasn't light enough

  • To dye your hair pastel colours you need a very light coloured hair preferably white however, it can still work with a light blonde however be warned that it won't go the exact colour you were probably expecting

  • You will need-
1. A container which you don't mind getting stained or ruined
2. White conditioner (cheap is probably the best) edit- I accidentally bought shampoo so I'll have to use my mums conditioner oops
3. Hair dye (I use a high pigment hair dye so that I can get more use out of it!

  • As you can see here, you don't need much of the dye. Just mix it in with the conditioner until you get a pretty colour you like!
