  • INGREDIENTS:
    *1 ¼ lb. ground turkey
    *1 lb. mixed vegetables
*Olive Oil (just enough to coat the pan when spread)
    *1 tsp. garlic salt
    *1 tsp. black pepper
    *1 tsp. Mrs. Dash seasoning
    *Mrs. Dash seasoning (to taste)
    *1 box of Wheat Rotini

  • DIRECTIONS:
    1. Cook rotini as directed, then set aside.
    2. Cook mixed vegetables as directed. OR Cook for 4-6 minutes under medium heat. Set aside.

  • 2. Cook mixed vegetables as directed. OR Cook for 4-6 minutes under medium heat. Set aside.

  • 3. MAKING MEATBALLS (I recommend you do this while the pasta and vegetables are cooking, while checking on those once in a while):

  • 3. MAKING MEATBALLS:
    1) If needed, defrost/ allow the ground turkey to sit on the countertop for ONLY 3-4 hours.

  • 3. MAKING MEATBALLS:
    2) Season the turkey with the garlic salt and black pepper. (make sure to spread the seasoning in the ground turkey to spread the flavor)

  • 3. MAKING MEATBALLS:
    3) Using the measurement of 1tbsp. shape the turkey into small meatballs.

  • 3. MAKING MEATBALLS:
    4) Heat a cooking pan, and add the olive oil. Cook the meatballs about 2-3 minutes on each side under a medium fire. Cook only a dozen meatballs at a time. Meat is best cooked when they have space from one another. After each batch is done cooking, transfer to a plate and set aside.

  • 4. After the last batch of meatballs are done cooking, add the cooked meatballs and the cooked mixed vegetables.

  • 5. Add the water and stir around for 1-2 minutes under low heat. Add Mrs. Dash Seasoning to taste. Don't cook for too long, for the vegetables might get overcooked, and loose its flavor.

  • 6. Transfer to a serving plate, and serve with rotini. Enjoy all you want!
