  • here's what you'll need

    🌰 1 cup of raw almonds
    🌰 2 cups of water
    🌰 blender or food processor
    🌰2 bowls
    🌰 1 cheese cloth
    🌰 1 strainer

  • first, you wanna scoop out 1 cup of almonds and put it into a bowl. then, cover the almonds with water. this is really boring, but you're going to have to cover it up and put it in the fridge for 1-2 days to relax and soak (sorry!)

  • once the waiting is over, your almonds should have murky water like the picture shown above.

  • Now it's time to grab you strainer! Drain all of that murky water out and pour it into the sink. the almonds should still be in the strainer.

  • Now, put the almonds in your blender. Pour two cups of water in the blender along with the almonds.

  • blend for about 2 minutes on the highest speed. 4 minutes if you have a food processor

  • put a cheese cloth over a container or bowl. carefully pour the milk over the cheese cloth. from there, squeeze all of the liquid out of the cheese cloth into the container. the almond grinds should be left in the cheese cloth when you're finished

  • once your mixture is "almond grind free" you can add a little bit of vanilla extract, almond extract, and honey for flavor.. you don't have to.. but I did to make it a tad bit sweet...

    as for the almond grinds in the cheese cloth.. you don't have to throw them out. you can put them into smoothies, oatmeal, or put it in the oven for a couple of hours until it's dry and use it as almond meal ☺🌰
