Low Fat Philly Sauce

  • Ingredients you will need
    serves 2
    1 onion
    1packet of mushrooms
    2chicken breast chopped or four bacon strips
    1chicken stock cube
    Half a packet of Philadelphia garlic and herbs low fat
    Can of sweet corn (optional )
    A knob of butter low fat
    Sea salt and pepper

  • Using hot water dissolve the stock cube using a spoon to make sure nothing is sticks to the bottom a cup or measuring jug will do fine .

    Make sure the pan is heated up then add the knob of butter when melted sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper on chicken breast or bacon and cook until it's browned off .

    add the onion diced and mushrooms and a little stock cube gradually adding more as it sautés add the sweet corn now if you want .

    When everything is cooked make sure all of the stock hasn't dissolved leaving a little add half the Philadelphia and stir in till you get creamy based sauce .

  • I usually have this with pasta but could use in a baked potato to or a pie for a treat .
