Looking For A Cheaper Alternative To Waxing And Less Bumpy Alternative To Shaving? 😊 L👀k! #tipitSugar wax!!! Also called sugaring, it's a better alternative to waxing and shaving because the sugar attaches itself to just the hair and not your skin. I have eczema really bad and shaving makes it itchy and horrible and waxing irritates my skin. This is a little time consuming but my legs lookawesome! And it's no strips needed, how great is that?! It's three simple ingredients, I made a smaller batch so I used a cup of sugar, 2 tablespoons of each water and lemon juice. You make it over the stove until it is a honey color, you just have to keep a close eye on it, don't leave the kitchen!I actually ended up only using about a third of the mix that I made, storing the rest, and I just reheated it when needed. Yes, eventually it gets a little yuck because you see all the little hairs but who cares, you're on your way to smooth prettiness! 😜 Plus, saving some is good for next time!http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ueJLhXNUJ3c&autoplay=1
I did a lot of research before I finally attempted it. This video is a home video but shows you the basics of how to do it. I did her cooling method on the plate and then stored the leftovers in the fridge! 😊👍http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=q_qLfoTW8oI
This video is full of helpful tricks and tips! I used the first method of removal (the one that goes against the grain and you rip with the hair growth) to avoid ingrowns like she said, it's been two days and I have no ingrowns or eczema spots!I'll tell ya, for me, that's a ton better than shaving or waxing! With shaving, within a day, I'm itching like crazy and get spots, with waxing, my skin is really sensitive so, it hurts. This method does hurt a little as you're applying (because it's grabbing the hairs) but not nearly as bad as wax!I suggest watching her video of how she made the dark wax, if you want to do the no strip method or the light wax, if you want to try it with strips. (She leaves the links in the info!) It's just helpful to watch the cooking part so you know about where it needs to be when you pull it off the heat.If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me! 😊 I've only tried it on my legs so far, but I plan on at least trying it on my eyebrows the next time I need them done. I'm all about natural alternatives, this is great because unlike waxing, I made it so I know exactly what's in it. No weirdchemicals or girls not knowing how to wax correctly so you get skin lift and bruises and hurt for a week. Plus, the most expensive part is a cup of sugar, compared to how much you're paying for that leg wax in a spa? I'll take the sugaring! 😊👍
