  • Ingredients: For 10 salmon cakes 🐟

    1lb sockeye salmon
    1/2 cup almond flour
    1/8 cup ground flax seed
    2 large eggs
    1/4 cup mayo

    Use whatever seasonings you like. I personally used garlic powder, smoked paprika, pepper, and cayenne pepper. I'm trying to stay away from salt.

  • Directions:

    You need to cook the salmons first.

    I preheated the oven to 400 and wrapped the salmon in foil and cooked it for 15 minutes. You can also fry the salmon if you want. Just make sure the salmon is cooked before you make the patties.

    I let the salmon cool for a little bit and then I mixed all of the ingredients.

    ONLY USE 1/4 cup almond flour first and saved the other 1/4 cup to "bread it".

  • Directions cont:

    I breaded the salmon cakes with the rest of the almond flour. You may need to add a little bit more almond flour to it to make sure all the cakes were breaded.

    Put enough oil to cover the bottom of the frying pan and you can add some butter if you want.

    Cook the salmon cakes until brown. ~4 minutes on each side:
