APPLE: your midsection is wider than your hips and shoulders.
To create an hourglass figure you need to create the illution that your hips and shoulders are wider, this can be done by simply wearing a wide belt at your widest point.
PEAR: your hips are wide in propotion to your shoulders and midsection.
To create an hourglass figure you need to make your shoulders appear wider, one of the easiest ways to do this us by wearing halt-neck dresses/tops.
STRAWBERRY/TOP HEAVY: your bust and shoulders are out if propotion to your hips and midsection.
To balance out your shoulders you need to create the illution that your hips are wider, do this by wearing wrap dresses, v-neck tops and wearing white on the bottom with colour on top.
HOURGLASS: you're lucky that your shoulders and hips are balanced with a thinner midsection.
This means you dont have to create any optical illutions or draw the eye to or away from particular areas. You can wear basically anything, just dont outbalance your shoulders/waist/hips.
RECTANGLE/BOYISH: your hips/shoulders/waist are very similar widths so you are lacking in curves.
If your figure is narrow, enlarge your shoulders and hips with halt-neck tops and wearing white bottoms with coloured tops, if you are broader, make your waist smaller with a wide belt.
