  • stretch before running. This will help so you wont cramp up and also its just good to stretch.

  • Don't Run dehydrated. Drink water before run, but don't drink a whole bunch right before a run. if you do you wont be able to go so far before you gotta go or before your side hurts(your side can also hurt from breathing wrong or your just burning calories). So drink water about 30 minutes prior to your run, this will ensure you will be hydrated and it will be better run. also i encourage having water on you when you run. if you do start feeling dehydrated it's better to have water on you than having none.

  • Do workouts everyday. this will help build muscle and make your run easier. Push ups, curl ups, planks are all good for arm and ab workouts. for your legs lunges, squats and leg lifts are all great for building muscle.

  • Push yourself. When you run don't stop when your just starting to get tired. Push yourself to go farther. When you get to a point where your tired but don't want to stop your workout. walk for a bit and stretch your arms. after about a minute start a slow jog and work your way up again. do this as many times as you want.

  • Finally after your run. Stretch. the best stretch is after a run. you may be tired at this point so do stretches on the floor that don't require as much standing. For example sit down and put your feet out in front of you and reach for you toes. this is a great stretch for your hamstrings.
