How to keep your mascara from ending up all over your eyes without the damage water proof can cause!

  • This is super simple and chances are you already have everything you need. So here it goes: * apply your favorite mascara as you normally would, I prefer one that lengthens and separates (my new found fave is LASH STILETTO) but to each her own. If you normally wear more than one coat , go ahead! Now here's the secret...apply your waterproof mascara sparingly to just the tips of your lashes, top and bottom. Now you have the added protection of the water proof without coating your delicate lashes in the nearly impossible life saver that waterproof make up offers.

  • At the end of your day removing your mascara should be simple. Just remove how you normally would,; using your favorite eye make up remover, I personally like using plain coconut oil because its gentle on my lashes, and also helps nourish them. Anyway hope this helps, especially with warm weather that's just right around the corner (hopefully!)

  • If you're like me then mascara is a daily essential . Going out without, it for me anyway , is worse than going bra less! But I absolutely hate when I glance in a mirror and see that it's as though I painted eyelashes on my eyelids and below, no one has told me, and god knows how long it's been there! Of course there are certain mascaras that are a lot better at keeping this problem at bay , but during the summer months it's hard for even the best of them to keep up with my go go schedule in the 100° temperature. Luckily I've found this little trick keeps my mascara where it should be!
