How to help dry hair

posted in Beauty > Hair
  • Dry hair can be annoying and very unflattering. When your hair gets too dry it will cause breakage. Use these few simple tricks to help keep your hair healthy and moisturized.

  • First of all, you should not shampoo your hair every day. This will strip the hair of its natural oils and not allow the natural moisture into the hair. You should shampoo every other day if not every few.

  • When using a clarifying shampoo use it first and then shampoo the second time with the moisturizing shampoo. The clarifying will open the cuticle and get any buildup out but it will also remove the oils. You always want to replace the moisture with the second shampoo.

  • Follow these simple steps to keep your hair healthy and moisturized. Also make sure to keep the ends of your hair trimmed. Get them trimmed at least every 8-10 weeks. Hair grows about half an inch a month so getting that much off every 8-10 weeks will help the hair grow longer and stay healthy and neat looking.
